Remodel · Treasure Valley, Idaho
Whole-home remodel and rewire electrical work
A whole-home remodel is the one chance to fix the electrical system properly: service, grounding, branch circuits, and the infrastructure the house will need for the next twenty years.

Start with what is actually in the walls
Knob and tube, ungrounded two-wire, aluminum branch circuits, and cloth-jacketed NM all show up in Treasure Valley housing stock. We open enough to know what we are dealing with before we price the rewire, so the scope is based on the house and not on an assumption.
Service, grounding, and bonding
A remodel-scale project almost always includes the service and panel, new grounding electrodes, and water and gas bonding brought to current code. Everything downstream depends on getting this part right.
Circuit plan for how the house will be used
Dedicated kitchen and laundry circuits, AFCI and GFCI where required, office and media circuits that will not trip on a space heater, shop and garage power, and capacity reserved for EV charging and heat pumps even if they come later.
Phasing an occupied home
If you are living in it, we phase by zone and keep power on where you sleep and cook. That means more temporary work and honest scheduling, but nobody spends a week in the dark.
Documentation at the end
A labeled panel schedule, photos of the rough-in before drywall, and a list of what was replaced versus what was left. It matters at resale and it matters the next time anyone opens a wall.
What we plan for
- Existing wiring assessed before the rewire is priced
- Service, panel, grounding, and bonding to current code
- AFCI and GFCI protection where required
- Dedicated circuits for kitchen, laundry, office, and shop
- Reserved capacity for EV charging and heat pumps
- Rough-in photos and a labeled panel schedule at handoff
Smart home electrical integration
A rewire is the cheapest moment to add smart-home pathways: conduit between the panel and media locations, dedicated power for network and camera gear, and control locations planned before drywall.
